A large part of the raison d’etre of Buell Hospitality is to provide a forum for support, learning and business enhancement. The Group offers an extensive calendar of events for all, albeit participation in certain events is restricted to Business Partners and industry members.
There is no charge for attendance at any of The Buell Hospitality events. Complete the form below to be included in our event communication.

The Buell Insights Calls were originally introduced during the Covid pandemic as a gathering point for people in the hospitality sector to come together to receive the latest updates from key industry figures.
The calls were then reintroduced in early 2024 due to popular demand and are now a monthly feature of many peoples’ diaries. They are an easy way to keep up to date with latest industry developments, emerging trends, new technologies and performance set against a global backdrop.
These calls are arranged by Buell Hospitality and are entirely free. Interested parties should simply drop a note to enquiries@buellhospitality.com providing their name, title, business name and email address and you will be added to the invitation list. An invitation is dispatched a few days before each call with a link to the Zoom call. The calls are generally recorded (subject to agreement of the speakers) and a follow up email is sent after the call to all on the invitation list with a link to the recording, a copy of slide decks if used, and the contact details of the presenters.
The calls generally take place between 10.00 and 11.00 a.m. on the third Thursday of the month, but days do vary so please note see the Events Calendar for up-to-date information.

These events take place twice per annum and are open to Business Partners and industry members and non-members alike. Indeed, all involved are encouraged to bring guests along to these events. Typically, the Buell Business Exchanges are held in a central location, and commence at 6.00 p.m. Receptions with informal networking are set around a presentation from an industry-leading figure. STA Signature Conference & Dinner
Staged by the Scottish Tourism Alliance, this event which takes place during Scottish Tourism Month is the premier conference in the Scottish hospitality business calendar of its type. Hosted at Edinburgh International Convention Centre, it is a ‘must’ for anyone with a deep interest in the sector. ITB
ITB is probably the largest trade fair for the hospitality and tourism sectors in the world. Staged in Berlin, it is well worth a visit for those with interests in the sector – but it is huge, so allow a good couple of days to get around it!

ScotHot
ScotHot is the Scottish hospitality industry’s premier trade show which takes place at the SEC in Glasgow every two years. Free passes may be obtained from the ScotHot website – www.scothot.co.uk.
