  • Review of current performance: We will assess your business’s current performance and set this against its true potential, identifying any relevant gaps and opportunities

  • Practical recommendations: Drawn from the analysis outlined above, Buell will provide a series of practical, easy-to-implement recommendations to bolster key areas of your business 

  • Implementation support: We can assist with the implementation of recommendations for total peace of mind and minimum disruption

How does it work?

Designed to help identify an organisation’s true potential, the Hotel Business Review focuses on revenue generation and cost reduction, and benchmarks performance against industry norms.

STEP 1:

An initial consultancy session attended by senior members of the client’s team and chaired by a Buell director or consultant, with at least one other Buell hotel specialist in attendance.

Aimed at understanding the scale and style of your operations, these sessions examine how a given project will be undertaken with minimal disruption to ongoing business activities.

STEP 2:

Your Buell Project Manager will spend time with you and senior members of your team to undertake detailed discovery work in each of the following areas:

  • Financial management and performance

  • Sales, marketing and revenue management

  • Operations and team management

  • Human resources and recruitment

  • Other areas, including property, legal, and health and safety

STEP 3:

Your consultant will prepare a concise review report which will summarise key observations in each of the five areas listed above, including any relevant recommendations for business improvement.

STEP 4:

The completed report will be followed up with a full debriefing and Q&A session, where an implementation action plan will be agreed. This may be managed entirely in-house or with the support of Buell Hospitality.
