A Case Study: Fairtree Capital
In 2022 Fairtree Capital acquired the Dunkeld House Hotel, located on the banks of the River Tay, in Dunkeld and Fonab Castle & Spa, Pitlochry. The properties are both 4-5-star luxury hotels, with each boasting a wide range of facilities and ancillary buildings.
Fairtree Capital engaged GLM to carry out a masterplan for each of the hotels. This plan was to take into consideration how the owners could improve and enhance the guest experience at both Dunkeld and Fonab as well as increase the asset for investors.
Our masterplan for each hotel included additional bedroom accommodation, new spa facilities, function suite and self catering lodges. The proposals were sent to the planning authority and received positive feedback overall. We continue to work with the client on the next design phases.
